Ryan Norberg Launches His New Karting Academy
Ryan Norberg is an internationally recognized karting professional, industry influencer, and multi-time National Karting Champion. Beginning March 2023, Ryan will launch his new venture to help develop drivers of all ages gain the racing skills to compete at the highest levels of karting through his ‘Norberg Karting Academy’.
The Norberg Karting Academy will be located at the acclaimed Orlando Kart Center (OKC) in Orlando, Florida, home of the United States Pro Kart Series (USPKS) opening round this weekend, the final round of the ROK Cup USA Florida Winter Tour (FWT) next weekend, and the opening round of the Superkarts! USA (SKUSA) Pro Tour at the end of the month.
At the Academy, a driver will experience personal attention explaining proven techniques that will help any driver increase their speed and decrease their lap times through many different programs including arrive and drive or bring your own kart for training options.
“Adding speed is one aspect but I also take time to impart key elements to insure each driver is confidently prepared to race and win,” explained Norberg. “I have been fortunate enough to have a great karting career, and I would like to pass that on to those around though the Academy.”
Norberg continued, “My goal is to try to and make it as easy as possible for a driver to take advantage of all the Academy offers. We have OTK chassis ready from mini to full size, and for the power, I have teamed up with ROTAX engines. I selected ROTAX power because of their longstanding reputation for quality and durability.”
Beyond the driver training, the Academy also features a hospitality suite that overlooks the racing circuit. This allows guests the opportunity to watch the training from the air-conditioned suite while still being able to conduct some daily online business.
Ryan added, “I wanted to provide a space for the parents so they too can be productive while at the Academy. I’m trying to make it enjoyable for everyone who attends.”
